| I Am looking to buy my first wakeboard boat. I am looking to spend no more than ten thousand. I just want a good boat that throws a good wake nothing to crazy but something good or I can at least make good with some weight. I would also prefer open bow. The year does not matter I am open to any and all suggestions thanks in advance |

A really good boat is the for wake boarding that's pretty cheap is the bayliner wake challenger. It's vdrive, open bow, and has the wrap around seating. I have the ski challenger version and it good weighted for a huge wake. If your not one of those bayliner haters there good boats. Just research them... There hard to find but I recently came across one in Jacksonville fl for sale and they would take 7k. That leaves 3k for a tower, racks and ballast bags |

hard to find is an under statement!! the maxum 210ss is the same thing, just finished out a little nicer and had different colors. they came in 2 versions. they came in 2 flavors. the 2080, and the 2280. the 2280 was longer. _________________ trying to find a $5-7K usable saltare if anyone knows of one. |

| Can you add much ballast to the 2001 hull? What about open bow? |

The 82-89 2001 nautique with ballast bags on each side of the doghouse and across the back throws a decent wake, but it isn't open bow. Our ps205 is open bow and it throws a good wake with 8-10 people in it, haven't gotten around to buying ballast bags to really slam it. _________________ "It's just water..not concrete or dirt..just throw it!! |

| It claims to be a 92 ski natique but open bow. I found a 97 sport natique I'm very interested in if anyone can tell me what kinda wake they throw |

| It is prolly like all the other older inboard ski boats. They have real clean wakes and you can weigh them down to get bigger. But still obviously won't compete with new wake boats but the wake will be solid and good. |

| I have heard the sport natique throws a better wake than the ski natique but have no experience on either boat |

| I believe the sport nautique is the same hull as the super sport nautique(vd) which became the first super air nautique. So the sport nautique is an old san just dd. Not sure on this but that what i thought. The wake should be great. |

a weighted 2001 puts out an awesome wake, and while they hold their value pretty well, there are so many of them out there that you can likely find one in your price range. try http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forsale/ and even try your local craigslist, there's bound to be a few for sale there too.

Supra used to make some open bow boats that are a tad older but I'm not familiar with them. I think a Ps205, the supra saltare or sunsport, or the 82-89 2001 nautique are your best options. _________________ "It's just water..not concrete or dirt..just throw it!! |
