okay...so im about to buy a Svfara 609...its going to be in saltwater..24/7 for like ..4 months i guess.....what do i need to get for it to run fine without damage....flush out kits ..etc...llinks would be nice...thanks! |

Closed cooling, Flush kit, Strainer, Zincs, boe-sheild on all metal in the engine compartment, Galvanized trailer and constant rinsing of everything...... |

deepcove nailed it, make sure u have the zincs its a must if ur gonna be leaving it in the water. Also if you can have the hull painted with that saltwater black paint to prevent things from growing on it, do it. _________________ stay clean, like me

yes....Svfara is alot nicer...
closed cooling..is that a must?...i dont think i can get that...if i hve the other thigns will it be alright? thanks |

It is not a must, but it does kep the raw salt water from ever coming in contact with you block....so for me personally it is a must. Having said this many people run their boats for years in salt water without closed cooling and never have a problem. |
