Ladies,
I am looking to purchase my girlfriend her first board this spring. I am looking for a board that will be good for both boat riding as well as at a cable park. Really looking for a good beginner board. She is 5'7" about 130lbs.
Thanks for the suggestions! |

Keep in mind that once she hits the slider park the warranty will be voided on the board.
If she is new to riding I would suggest going with an entry level wakeboard package to start for her. They are in the $299-350 price range. You can find some with slider base bottoms.
Some of the most best selling packages we have at boardstop are the Angel and luna package from Liquid Force.
I would start the search online and start with the package setups because that is where you will get your best bang for your buck.

I am totally ok with doing that. I actually purchased my first board last year and got a Liquidforce package and am really happy with it. I didn't realize at the time I got mine that they were about to open a park near me so I am also planning on getting myself a new board this spring. But for her I would like to find a board that is decent enough for her to use in both situations. I am not worried about the warranty.
I don't think the Angel or Luna are good or parks but I might be wrong. I will check them out! |

Looks like the 2011 LF Melissa Hybrid might be the way to go if I can find a good deal on one. |
